A specialized training to assist Bolivia in the fight against drugs is being delivered this week in Vienna.Carried out by UNODC, through its Laboratory and Scientific Section, the training helps identifying areas to strengthen practical knowledge and skills of laboratory personnel.
Funded by the European Union and Denmark, the project aims to assist Bolivia in tackling drugs. It mainly focuses mainly on:
– Crop monitoring;
– Regional cooperation and technical legal assistance;
– Validation of information of destruction/incineration of seized illegal drugs; and
– Increasing the capacity of forensic laboratories.
